We have the capacity to heal.

I am human first before I became  a skilled psychotherapist, seasoned mindfulness and Tibetan yoga practitioner.  I've spent the past 15 years rediscovering and healing my inner world, reclaiming my heritage, exploring spirituality and have met many inspiring teachers along the way; some as young as 5 years old. It is an honor to be a psychotherapist. I truly believe we innately have the capacity to increase tolerance for distress and heal our deepest suffering.

Modern science and ancient teachings can play a role in this process; discovering and rediscovering our deepest self.

I utilize many trauma informed and evidenced-based principles, mindfulness and body based interventions proven by neuroscience. Outside of my practice, I dedicate my time to organizing, facilitating, and training trauma informed mindfulness practices. Nature continues to be a source of healing and inspiration for me. Play, study, practice, and work are very important to me for living a fulfilling life. As my teacher, Thich Nhat Hanh has taught, it is the groundwork of life.

Over the past 20 years, I have had the opportunity of working with children, adults, families, students and staff in the K-12, community college and university, juvenile justice, child welfare systems and various community mental health agencies; anywhere between 5 to 70+ years old from all backgrounds.

I welcome people from all backgrounds and gender identity. As a first generation Vietnamese American immigrant, and woman in our society, I have a special interest in sharing the gems of healing intergenerational trauma, anxiety, stress and depression symptoms with self identified immigrants, children of immigrants, Asian Americans, BIPOC communities, students, bicultural individuals, educators and spiritual seekers. I am LGBQTIA affirming.
